Church of God Manipur

Church of God Manipur is registered under Manipur State Societies Registration Act 1989 (Manipur Act 1990). It was founded in the year 2000 in September out of concrete vision and the great commitment for holistic ministry of the Church and partnership in the great commission. The church in the present era is called to lerie and serve in the midst of a deteriorating human conditions. Despite human advancement that make the planet earth so a far growing and sophisticated age, the morality of mankind has reached its lowest ebb. Love the core of human life, is alarmingly diminishing in the family, society and even in the Christian world. Hatred, destruct, communed, disturbances, killing, property, hunger, widening gap between the rich and the poor, increase in divorce rate and broken families unwanted pregnancies among adolescences, Self destroying addition and HIV/AIDS, etc. are some of many prevalent realties that confront the Church and hinder the advancement of the gospel. Against the backdrop of these realities, Church of God Manipur emerged with a concrete vision and commitment to reach every individual, every family and every people group through life transforming massage of the gospel for total transformation of every humanity in Jesus Christ. To achieve this goal the great commission “go therefore and make disciples of all the nation" is conceived as the core value of the ministries by taking the broader sense of the term as individual neighbors to the extent of family, state and country neighbors. The neighbors are the people who are in immediate need of the life transforming massage of the gospel.
